Create a project

Create the project identity and local catalog defaults used by new records.

Steps

1. On the home screen, select Create project.
2. Choose Create new project and enter the project information and time zone for the recorded local times. Changing the time zone does not convert existing values.
3. Choose the main taxon format used for new specimen forms on this device.
4. Choose a personnel or project-based Field ID and complete any requested Cataloger details.
5. Review the summary, select Create project, and check the project information on the dashboard.

Note

Personnel Field IDs require an eligible Cataloger during project creation. Project-based numbering uses the project catalog number instead of a personal field number.
