Create a project

Create the project identity and local catalog defaults used by new records.

Steps

1. On the home screen, select + and then New project.
2. Choose Create new project and enter the project information and IANA time zone.
3. Choose the main taxon format used for new specimen forms on this device.
4. Choose a personnel or project-based Field ID and complete any requested Cataloger details.
5. Review the summary and select Create project.

Caution

Every project needs at least one Cataloger. With personnel Field IDs the wizard will not finish until one exists, so create that person here rather than after you start cataloging.
