Write a field narrative

Record field context that does not belong in a structured site, event, or specimen field.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Open Narratives and select +.
  2. Enter the date, time, writer, and related Site ID.
  3. Write concise Markdown-supported observations, decisions, and context.
  4. Attach relevant media when it adds evidence or context.
  5. Preview the entry, check its date and site, and reopen it to verify the stored text. The editor saves changes as you work.

Plain text is fine. Reach for these when a long entry reads better with structure, then use Preview to check the result.

Leave a blank line between paragraphs, and indent four spaces to nest a list item under another one.
