Document event activity and effort

Describe how sampling was conducted, by whom, and under which conditions.

Steps

1. Choose the primary activity from the controlled vocabulary and add notes for secondary or unusual work. The defaults omit Other; add it in event settings only if needed.
2. Add each sampling method, equipment count or size, and method notes as effort records.
3. Add everyone who participated and assign the appropriate event role.
4. In event settings, choose which environmental fields appear. Ambient temperature, ambient humidity, cloud cover, rainfall, and notes are shown by default; hidden values remain stored and exportable.
5. Record environmental measurements and any per-event custom environmental fields. For cloud cover, one okta represents one eighth of the visible sky; code 9 means the sky is obscured.
6. Review astronomy values and correct the event time or location if they are unexpected.
