Create a tabular export preset

Save a repeatable record selection, field mapping, and header configuration.

Steps

1. Open Settings > Tabular Data.
2. Create a preset and give it a descriptive name.
3. Choose the record type, taxon scope, and field mode.
4. Add and order fields, then configure standard mappings or custom headers.
5. Field and setting changes save automatically. To change the name or add a short description (up to 80 characters), type it and select Update.
6. Test the preset through Export records with representative data.

Tip

Export one preset from its row, or all of them from the options menu. The export dialog lets you rename the file, pick a folder, and Share it once it is written. Both scopes write the same file, so either imports through the same Import action.

Check that the test export has the intended column order, units, and handling of repeated values.
