Export images and media

Export photographs on their own, either one file at a time or as a single archive.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Open a media item and select Export for one file, or open the media gallery, turn on selection, and select Export for several.
  2. Choose the image format. Original copies the file unchanged, and JPEG, PNG, or WebP converts it.
  3. Resize when the files are larger than you need, using the width and height fields for one image or the maximum longer side for a selection.
  4. If you chose JPEG, adjust quality for the intended use. Preserve the original when an unchanged source file is needed.
  5. For a selection, choose TAR.GZ or ZIP according to the receiving software, then confirm the file name and destination.
  6. Set the filename and destination. For an archive, select Export media; for a single-file dialog, select Export. Check the result and any skipped-file warnings.
