Choose the right export type

Choose a backup, transfer, structured export, or publishing bundle according to the next use.

Steps

1. For the daily field backup, and for combining NAHPU devices, choose Export project; use ZIP/TAR.GZ with media or JSON.GZ without it.
2. For an installation recovery point, choose Backup database. Keep regular checkpoints and create one before importing, merging, or replacing data.
3. For spreadsheets or analysis, choose Export records.
4. For biodiversity exchange, choose Bundle records and a Darwin Core format; these outputs cannot restore a NAHPU project. Choose NAHPU Data Package for the native schema and a compatible re-importable project payload.
5. For labels or reports, choose Export documents.

After choosing a format, follow its recipe and verify the generated file before sharing it.
